About the Photographer

Chris Lees BSc. RICS. LRPS Photographer
Chris started freelance photography in the mid 1980's using a Courtney mobile studio to create family portraits in peoples own homes whilst also photographing cycling events for Cycling Weekly, Winning (Cycling Illustrated) , National newspapers and local papers. His travel photography also won several awards in National photography magazines including Practical Photography, SLR Photography and Amateur Photographer.
He also won the Jessops National Photographer competition in 2009 picking up a substantial prize as a result! Many of his images have also been sold at exhibitions and of course 1000's of his photographs purchased at the many Time Trial, Road Race and Cyclo Cross events he has attended. Chris has been running his Studio in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands area now since 2008. Chris gained his LRPS distinction in 2009 and some of the images from his successful portfolio are included on this website.
